Inflation & Raises

Adjusted Hard Cap
Each team carries an adjusted hard cap. If a team finishes below the soft cap, its adjusted hard cap rises by $15 next season, capped by the new base hard cap. If a team finishes above the soft cap, its next hard cap is reduced by 50% of the first $30 overage and 100% of anything above that.
No team may exceed its adjusted hard cap. Non-rights RFA bidders must stay under both soft-cap room and hard-cap room. Rights holders may go over the soft cap to match, but cannot go over the hard cap.
